As a nice collaborative tie-in with the National Cherry Blossom Festival in nearby Washington, DC, Old Ox Brewery has produced FestivAle, a fruity saison with herbal aroma and fresh cherry sweetness ideal for springtime.
The packaging is equally as pleasing and the liquid — Japanese-style English lettering, cherry blossom imagery, and the dome of the US Capitol paired with a traditional towering building of Japan.
Rose in color, nice carbonation, crisp and clean, and 5.5% ABV.
George Washington would be proud.
